Two major events shaped Kendrek's outlook on how he should conduct himself and how he could help positively impact others in his personal and professional life. In 2015 after a conversation with his brother in law Kendrek was convicted to read the Bible in it's entirety. Less than 50 days later he found himself in a whole new world. The Bible had adjusted his perspective and helped improve his relationships with others. The more he was in the Word the more he could feel God working in his life. He knew this was something he couldn't keep to himself so he began to share it with others. He began teaching a "Bible Basics" course focused on encouraging others to read at his local church as well as leading a personal finance course to help individuals manage their debt and move toward financial freedom. All the while cultivating in the background how the Biblical principles he learned were directly related to the business issues him and many others faced everyday.

The second event was near the end of 2020 during the COVID lockdown period. During this time, tensions were high and many businesses were facing major headwinds. Kendrek was actively working with a team to help plan the next business cycle for his current employer. The work piled up and the demand increased, before he knew it the entire team was working until midnight for weeks. Then it happened, massive headaches and suddenly nothing, he couldn't see out of his right eye. Fast forward to the doctors visit and the news was good. Temporary stress induced ocular headaches. Another team member wasn't as lucky, he found himself with a minor stroke.

This couldn't continue. Kendrek decided he needed to refocus, he needed to help improve the work life balance not just for himself but everyone around him. He started reading, studying, and looking for solutions to help maintain productivity but reduce stress and increase wellbeing. After discovering the necessary solutions he began implementing immediately and found major success in reducing stress for himself and those working with him. This led him to restructure the way he saw success in todays world and begin coaching others to drive improvements through a Biblical Management approach.

Outside of coaching, Kendrek is married to his high school sweetheart Angela who he has been with for over 18 years and has been blessed with two amazing children. He is an avid traveler who has visited over 40+ countries, enjoys indoor rock climbing, and spending time with friends and family.
